If you want to be able to expand your skill set or to achieve something that you haven’t already achieved then you have to get out of your comfort zone.
Most people avoid being uncomfortable at all costs. And ironically most people aren’t very successful or have a large skill set. When you’re facing fear or something that makes you feel uncomfortable, it’s like God/universe telling you that you need to grow.
That’s the purpose of life in my mind. To constantly be growing and stretching ourselves. So if you have a deserve to hit a certain goal, or achieve success in an area of your life I guarantee you your not gonna feel comfortable.
But I guarantee you that it’s gonna be worth it 🙂
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if we were stripped of our conditioning?
That we didn’t limit ourselves based on what we’ve seen on TV, read in the news paper, or heard from our parents?… Think about that.
In the based 4 months or so I’ve really sat down and questioned a lot of things, concerning the social norms in society. The rooting question was is “this” what it’s really supposed to be like?
We’re taught were supposed to work our ass off in school all day, then go to more schooling to work our ass off all day to then work our ass off for the rest of our life and “hopefully” retire….
And our “success” comes down to how well we can retain and regurgitate information.
To be honest with you, I think that’s bullshit.
I believe as human beings, we were put on this earth to do a lot more than to merely survive. I believe we were ment to thrive! To love one another! To always being growing and learning. And to ask ourselves everyday “how can I serve”, so that we can always be adding value to other people, and the world we live in 🙂
I also believe we have a right to prosperity.
I believe were able live EXACTLY the life we want, rising above any limitations to achieve anything you want in life.
I’m not going to write about it now, but I really want to share with you how my friend Dakota who was an ex pot head, who got wasted every weekend, was able to turn his life around, RETIRE and move to Thailand at 19.
But for now, have an amazing day!
